1. Finance Accounts Assistant (FAA) — 600 Vacancies

How to Apply for Any JKSSB Recruitment
All JKSSB applications are submitted online through the official portal. Here is the process:

- Click on “Recruitment” or “Active Notifications” on the homepage
- Find the relevant advertisement and read the full notification PDF
- Register on the portal if you have not already
- Fill in the application form and upload required documents
- Pay the application fee online
- Submit and save the confirmation
Documents generally required: Domicile certificate, date of birth proof, educational qualification certificates, category certificate (if applicable), recent passport-size photograph, signature.
Key Things to Remember
Domicile is mandatory. All JKSSB posts require a valid J&K domicile certificate. Without it, your application will be rejected regardless of your qualifications.
Age limits are strict. Most posts have an upper age limit of 40 years, with the SI post being an exception at 28 years. Relaxations apply for reserved categories as per J&K government rules — check each notification individually.
Negative marking exists in almost every JKSSB exam. The standard is 0.25 per wrong answer, though the SI exam has 0.5. Factor this into your exam strategy.
Application deadlines are final. Once a deadline passes, there is no extension option in most cases. Set reminders well before the last date.
